Seperation Poem by trina johnson

Seperation

Two paths in life i could take
Not knowing where either will go.
I have to count on logic,
On sheer emotion to decide
Which path is right for me.
A shorter trip, a paved road
With tricks all known-learned before.
Or is a different path the way i take
To see what my future holds?
Gravelled, dark, unexpected,
All up-hill. Is this right?
Or maybe I should stand and wait.
Letting life come to me.
Missing excitement, turning
To boredom. Not knowing
What might happen down
This path or that one.
