Serenade Poem by Adrians Vasiljevs

Serenade

Once my feelings were at bay,
Now such emotions run astray,
The spark of your shimmering light,
Once felt, left quite the delight,

Now the core of mine blazes bright,
In thoughts of you every night,
After all no days are as lovely,
As the days when I stand by your side proudly,

Many wonders for us yet to see,
Are unknown even to me,
Since love is a true mystery,
Truly makes my heart go crazy,

Every now and then I find solace,
Amidst your loving embrace,
As the love of ours became profound,
So did our hearts become fully bound.
