Serendipity Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Serendipity

Repeated dream,
of unknown territory.
Vast grassland with
a single tree in the middle.
Cloudy horizon.
A lonely bird in the sky
-and those ancient echoes.
'I had been here before? '
A question tinkled!
Routinely, sharp hands
of the clock stabbed it
pushing me back to the rut.
Dreamy spell lingered.
on and on...
And once a moment flashed.
Dream dissolved in
Serendipity.
Past agonies and ecstasies,
cravings and longings
exploded recreating me,
reborn, blessed with power.
In tranquil infinity
who was watching this all?
That was me again!
Not getting complete
hold on the happening.
A joyous, hearty laugh
shook me and I turned
my back to this whole
game and walked away...
