Serene Silence Poem by Carmen loves

Serene Silence

She lays on the beach
Soaking up all that is peacful
She grasps the sand
As if shes grasping the moment
She hears the waves washing the shore
As if they're washing away the remaining peices
She takes in the scent of nature
As if it's her first whiff of happiness

As the sun rays hit her body
Feeling hit her heart and reflect
She's done, finally
No more regrets, no more burdens
Her hearts been lifted, the weights been taken off
She's overdosed on medicine of a broken heart

This is new to her
Her sences have hypnotised her
She's in a new state
Colours are brighter
And the grass is greener
She's at last here

Looking around
Happy with what she sees
She breathes a sigh of relief
And actually smiles
