Serene World Poem by Mohammad Younus Bhat

Serene World

Rating: 1.0

The naked mouth of the mountain
Kisses the feet of the silky cloud
The green plateau welcomes me
To have a cup of tea
It is pleasure to have something
there despite restaurents
I am in good heart to look at
The green-footed forest clasping
the raised colosseum
there is nothing but placidity
in the lap of nature
It is not found in noisy and
contaminated cities
The silence in the serene world is merely broken with
The intermittent sounds of birds
And uninterrupted music of the river
Which proclaim loudly the peace is here
The peace is here
And the peace is here!
