The rain fall silently
As not to disturb your sleep
I watched you dream beautifully
And there was a smile on your lips
The clouds were crying
The sky in pain
Beyond that the sun was hiding
Waiting to shine again
I touched your face
And kissed your forehead lightly
I wondered what kind of place
That kept you sleeping so soundly
The rain had ceased
The sun looked pleased
Oh no you’re going to miss
The seven-coloured bridge
You stirred slowly
And hold my hand tightly
I said don’t worry
I won’t leave you honey.
The bridge faded away
And so did its gay
Silently I prayed
We’ll cross it someday.
