On a sunny, cold winter day seven years ago
You entered my life; a treasure to bestow
We've been through many changes since our start
One things never changed; you're the beating of my heart
I was living a life filled with melancholy
Feeling so broken, sad, and lonely
You healed my heart with your love and gave it a beat
Since you came into my life; I've felt complete
I didn't believe in destiny until it led me to you
Never put much trust in wishes but you made mine come true
When you meet that someone special, who makes your heart skip a beat
One look into their eyes and you're swept off your feet
You get all tingly; your senses ignite
Your breathing quickens and your head feels light
A heart as pure as yours always gives unselfishly
I want you to know how much you mean the world to me
The many things you do and all the times you're there
Show me deep down inside how much you really care
When I need to talk or I'm feeling sad and blue
I know you understand and will give me your point of view
Life is difficult with its many twists and turns
It's through life's lessons that we continue to learn
Your unconditional love and friendship showed me the person I am inside
Giving me the freedom to be myself; my feelings I'll never hide
If you ever need anything, any time day or night
I promise I'll always be there to try to make things right
To tell you how special you are; I don't know where to begin
Just know what I feel for you, has no end
If I had one wish that could come true
That one wish would be only for you
You're the sun that shines throughout my day
My guiding light; showing me the way
Love is patient, kind, and places no demands
It holds your heart with gentle hands
The way we connected; I just knew
There's something different about you
The way you understand me, I understand you too
We've a special bond; we're part of the lucky few
You complete me and make me whole
You're the eternal flame burning in my soul
There are no words to express how thankful I am for you
Just know you're a blessing; a dream come true
It's because of you that I know how amazing this world can be
You've made my life beautiful; you're precious to me
I'll always be here for you in the good times and the bad
You can count on me; you're the best friend I've ever had
You bring me joy and happiness; I take everything in stride
Together we share much laughter; forever by my side
