Sexual Harassment Poem by Margret Olore

Sexual Harassment

In shadows deep, a whispered fear,
Unwanted touch, a silent tear.
Innocence shattered, trust betrayed,
The echoes linger, never fade.

A voice unheard, a plea ignored,
Invisible chains, the soul is scored.
A violation of body and mind,
Leaves scars unseen, yet deeply bind.

The courage to speak, to break the chain,
To stand tall, to ease the pain.
To shine a light on darkened deeds,
And sow the seeds for future needs.

Let us unite, in strength and grace,
To create a world, a safer space.
Where respect and consent always reign,
And never again shall we endure such pain.
