Shades Of Ambers And Crimsons Poem by Asma Khan

Shades Of Ambers And Crimsons

Rating: 5.0

I have died every day
waiting for you
when the evening greys
hit the silent skies
I turn around with bright eyes
gaze for your presence
many stars wonder looking at me
many fireflies swirl around me
questioning me, asking me
the reason behind
my emptiness, my loneliness

I have died every day
waiting for you
when the blazing yellow
spreads its wings on the
bright blue glaring skies
I turn around with hopeful eyes
reaching for your hands
walking by your side
thinking may be
you will come by my side...

The dusty skies will smile brightly,
in the shades of ambers and crimsons
with fragrances from heavens
we once created...

suddenly
the air will be filled with your fragrance
beholding so many engraved memories,
you will be beside me,
holding my hand silently,
and saying,
I was with you,
I am with you,
I will be with you! ! !
