Shadow
Oh ebullient nebulous you
why do you haunt
me, on the empty corners
the untread unwanted
roads that i walk on
Ever clinging
ever lingering
lengthening with time
when memories visit
On desolate cold nights
Where no one is in sight
you provide
Cold comfort
With you around
I am never alone
You my shadow
my clone
my keeper of secrets
you choke me
Alas, nothing can be done
Till death we are bound
