Footsteps on a long dark road
As a mysterious shape follows close up behind
A never-ending dream,
you’ll become a part of me,
Day or night,
Dark or light you'll be,
Always by my side and become
Apart of me and my shadow
The never ending sun
Gazes upon
Everything that is lost
Running throughout my head,
searching for a chance
to catch my breath,
Now I can only see what left of me when
You take away my shadow
And I’ll always find my way back to you
Because truly it was meant to be
And you’ll always have a part of me too.
