Shadow Blaze Poem by Samantha Bougie

Through the shadows he came,
With a fiery blaze in his wake.

I knew he was the one I was looking for,
He was looking for me as well.

We have secrets and pasts to haunt others,
We understand each other because of this.

He could control the shadows,
While I controlled the blazes,
We were an unbeatable team.

One day he left me with no protection,
From the council,
They were cruel and made me a slave.

But I knew that when he came back,
He would answer for what he has done.

He left me our Shadow Blaze,
It is my power and my family,
They will not perish because of me.
