Shadow Tongues Poem by Spanner Thegob

Shadow Tongues

Rating: 5.0

AS Fading whispers echo
voices cascade into heavy Silence,
And in that heavy silence,
Untruths fall from fertile tongues.
Those fertile tongues gave falsehoods a glorious birth
Falsehoods mature and crystallise into intolerance,
Truth drifts and Fades,
the deceived embrace threads
entwined with
thinly disguised half truths,
woven to become a cloak of silence and deceit.
half-truths,
the weapon of choice
for fools who tilt at windmills

Deep, deep thoughts, my friend. Your sound is profound.
