I felt you there
In the shadowcast of evening
Dark fingers reaching
Into the sunset
Pulling you back to the present
Stirring from the stillness
And pausing life itself
In the quiet of the eventide
Just enough
To hear your words
Tumble in the wind
And whisper of a promise
That we will meet again
