Shadows Poem by Sarah Tripp

Shadows

My shadow hangs over into your light
But you don’t seem to notice me.
My cries, my screams.
They all blend into the constant drone of excitement in your life.
I hear you laughing,
But it isn’t fusing with my own.
I see you crying, but it is not because of me.
