but for the unwinding.

I lay still
Waiting for the waves to wash over me.
It stimulates my body.
I let go of everything.

My shadow hangs over into your light
But you don’t seem to notice me.
My cries, my screams.
They all blend into the constant drone of excitement in your life.

No one to talk to.
No one to answer me.
No one to confide all my secrets with.
You used to be there.

I wish I was in your arms every minute of the day.
For you to hold me, and whisper in my ear.
To tell me that you love me,
But those are all just fantasy stories.
