Shadows Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Shadows lost their track.
They already had haunted me
and challenged me to find out
where was the sun but
I wasn't interested.
Shadows were there for me
to play the game of
hide and seek.
I was totally captured
by the magic of light
and dark.
Many things were on
and I was supposed to
be serious about all
around me.
But the important point
was no one wasted their time
to take note of my being.
Shadows lost their track
to make a new track for me.
When I saw my own shadow
left me and I was free
to find out how they
play their game
to catch you in their shadow.
