Shadows And Dust - Poem by Caleb Andrew Ward

if darkness prevails, the sun goes out
if light lives on, we have no doubt
if love is real, can it breathe?
if you, i, it exist can it live without?
i can see the end creeping close
like a ghost, shadow, dust

never ending, unceasing until nightfall
live shadows, live dust,
like
shadows
like
dust
