Shakespearean Wish Poem by William Cavanagh

Shakespearean Wish

A troublesome find
To choose words well
Your strength of mind
Gone straight to hell
To build a sonnet
‘Ts work of art
Do not neglect
Your strength of heart
For any one man
With simple math
Must draw a plan
And choose his path
Were my fortunes equal to my desire
A wish; for the missing syllables I require
