Shannon. Poem by Chris Lane

Shannon.

Rating: 0.5

Celtic calligraphy written
Bold an' blazon
Emerald green
Etched white
And gold
Tattooed
Above your
Ankle 'Shannon'

How could I
Ever forget!
Your purity
Like a canvas
Endowed with
Magnificent
Beauty

Your captivating eyes have mine hypnotized
Since first I chanced to meet them
Burning right through my mind
A pathway to joy and freedom

When in Contae an Chláir hunting
We shall forget all about the prey
Spend our time in shanty cabin
Exchanging chi and magic
Burning quenching freezing.
