Shared Silence Between Lovers (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Shared Silence Between Lovers (Shakespearean Sonnet)

No words are needed where our hearts converse,
For silence holds the depth that speech cannot;
A quiet bond, both gentle and diverse,
Wraps every thought in warmth that time forgot.
The world may clamor, pressing loud and near,
Yet in this hush, our souls alone reside;
Each glance, each breath, each heartbeat crystal clear,
Declares a truth no voice need e'er provide.
In stillness, love unfolds its secret art,
A tender rhythm, steady, soft, and true;
The pause between our words speaks to the heart,
And binds me ever closer unto you.
Thus silence blooms where passion need not strive,
And makes our quiet moments wholly alive.
