Sharp Tongue - Poem by Falecia Y. Brown

Whats the matter with you
You can't get out the bed
Without talking on the phone
Other peoples' problems you can't leave alone
Some peoples tongue is more dangerous than a gun
Sharp tongue yeah you are the killer
They should put you in jail instead of the man
That pulled the trigger
Because you are the cause
Sharp tongues should be against the law
Girl, you are deadly; can't you see
Your mouth run one thousand miles an hour
Then you try to keep peace
How after the damage is done
People are dying because of your sharp tongue
