Shattered Poem by Marcus Dandridge

Shattered

Rating: 4.5

I'm so shattered with feelings
not promised to live swell
they say the life you living in
could lead you to a prison cell

I was taught to search and destroy
i'm heartless and close minded
I got a fact of in difference and
then it's bad timing.

Waste of talent, persistent passion full
of the intensity, a bullet hollows in the chamber
for any dude my enemy

A go getter wig splitter i'm always
strapped and for you sorry suckers,
i'm cautious, waiting on the attack!

Unpleasant, when i'm under pressure
never get nervous when i'm submitting
these desperate measures.

You feeling guerilla dude? Then jump,
you aren't tough i'm humble and timid
so watch my guns bust!

And I got to say since the day
of conception I don't play.
I've been stricken with rage.

Toting the gage, knocking dudes
out like I was Johnny Cage!
Since the first day i've been the
one people have blamed, aren't it a shame?

That now i'm grown i'm bringing
all the pain the only reason I
do it is to show you this isn't a game!

Because it's an eye for an eye
and a tooth for a tooth surrounded
by all these lies, born as a warrior
because only the strong survive the truth!
