Shattered But Standing hossein Molla Poem by Hossein Molla

Shattered But Standing hossein Molla

When the earth shattered and my heart was left exposed
No one remained— not even God gazing at me
I cried out 'Is there no one here? '
My only reply was the sound of a distant sigh

A friend left, stole my shadow, and vanished
Now grief itself is my only companion
No shoulder to lean on, no comforting voice
I was a stranger— and my nights were left defenseless

Though I burned, I still stood and watched
For even in my fall, my heart found refuge
I rose from the dust, shattered, yet still
Their laughter echoed, carving a hollow inside me

I breathed through the ruins of my pain
But their cold stares salted every old wound
I moved beyond them, relying on myself
This silence, now my strength and my proof

I stood tall from the heart of the night, in their absence
But their cruelty remains— a lasting witness
