I'll strive my best
To be the good one,
But I'm losing it
In life's long run.
I'm really unsure
Where I should go,
Unable to move up,
Stuck in a resounding 'No.'
I'm holding on,
Masking like I'm fine,
But believe me, my friend,
Inside, I'm truly dying.
There's a void
Residing in my heart,
My mind gets consumed,
Drifting farther apart.
Feelings are entombed
In the coffin of my mind,
I yearn to break free,
To live a life that's right.
It's difficult to be heard,
For the world lacks kindness,
Trapped within my thoughts,
Bound by an invisible harness.
I feel the urge to burst,
To sever the strings of my heart,
Anxious to break free,
From the reality tearing me apart.
My jaw feels frozen,
As if the blood has ceased to flow,
The colder my body grows,
The harder it becomes to carry on
