She. Poem by Lisa Henson

She.

Is she nice?
NO!
She is one in a million
Cut from the finest cloth
Hair like woven black silk
Eyes of ocean grey
Her skin is cashmere soft
Is she nice, you ask
No, she is not.
Ice cream on a hot summers day is nice.
Fresh coffee straight from the pot is nice.
To call her nice would be robbing her of what's true
That she is so much more
Than nice.
She is the object of my worship
The one for who I breathe.
