She Does Not Belong Poem by katie todd

She Does Not Belong

Rating: 5.0

There once was a girl who always seemed out of place.
She was like a flower in the desert,
or water in space.
She was like a canary
among a bunch of ravens.
She was somebody who was lost,
with no safe haven.
You could see by the confusion in her eyes,
and the loneliness edged on her face,
You knew she felt that she didn't belong in this place.
She must have felt like she was trapped behind bars.
She was hiding her life in all her past scars.
I still wonder to this day,
what it must have been like to be her,
what I could have done,
And what would have occurred.
