She Errs, But So What? Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

She Errs, But So What?

I held her close in my arms
Even if my every move
Sent millions of breaths staggering for me

With every tick and tock of movement
Made me wish to girdle her close;
She was the purpose behind my wish for stillness

Into the reflection of her yesterdays,
Tomorrows were more than eager to perfect her
Despite flaws and the changes outside her window
Her beauty echoed into lifetimes until I no longer mattered
