She Is Gone Poem by Marta Mehrpouyan

She Is Gone

Rating: 0.5

Time goes on...
but feelings that are supposed to cool off
keep smoldering in his heart.
Nothing calms the burning inside,
the searing torture of not seeing the light
of those eyes that had become his north star,
the flame of his hell and of his heaven the light
She was all he cared for...
She is not there anymore
and no matter how many different ways he tries
or how hard he looks for ways to survive...
the immense, cruel pain that does not kill his human form
slowly dissolves what is left of his soul,
slowly annihilating the immortal part of his essence, ... his hopes... his faith
and he feels them all blow away with every sigh... drown in every tear
still fighting, trying to find a way out through the maze
that in his mind the scars from her words have left.
Sweet man with the dreamer eyes...
he cannot live without the light of his star
nor can he notice the many others in his skies,
so he walks slowly,
alone,
through the darkness of his night.
She is gone.

'Le temps continue... Et il marchelentement, seul, par l'obscurité de sa nuit, car elle est maintenant partie '
