She Is Leaving... Poem by Vikash Kumar

She came in my life like a star, I was delighted like a joker
But there was a war and she left me like a poker.

What a time it was when she liked me a lot,
How difficult it is now after she broke the knot.

I called her and told her why not meet once
She agreed but warned not to cross the fence.

I was waiting for her at the park, by the time she came it was dark
She was wearing something black and thought I am crack.

I asked her how are you, she replied thank you.
I said I am sorry let's make up, she said forget it let's break up.

I said I always want to be with you
She answered the other guy is much better than you.

I cried I will always keep you happy, will do anything for you.
I will always love you and my heart will beat only for you.

She remained silent and kept looking into my eyes.
Finally she left with a feeling of remorse in her eyes.
