She Is Poetry Poem by Stevens Cadet

She Is Poetry

Full of words and meaning
Even her shallow moments hold depth

I see the best versions of her
When she is sad or upset

Too shy, yet she projects
A conveying message

Attentively, you snap
At the conclusion of her sentence

As if, her words spoke for her cries
The borders she lied beside

Became her sanctuary
Such a beautiful mind

That has misery sound like a fuse
Of something classical & the blues

Her vocal cords made this mere mortal
Become welcomed among the muse

Her very existence was poetry
New understanding, compassion, empathy
And appreciation was gained every time she was read

Like something you experienced before
The moment the introduction began

Enchanted
Creating feelings, only frozen by time

She drips like wet ink when the flow
Comes to mind
