she knows about the happiness you build through
she can look me in the eye
and make me believe that i've lost you

cause in her smile i see your soul
you've got yourself a love for sure
you took your soulmate by the hand
but promissed you'll still be my friend

God watch me over here

always smiling like i should
to wish my friend the luck he needs
