She Loves Her Uni Days Poem by Melissa Coventry

She Loves Her Uni Days

Rating: 4.5

Bent over her keyboard,
Eyes glowed to the screen,
Fingers never stopping,
There quick paced pressing.

Mind absorb in an idea,
Reality so far away,
Hasn’t moved her spot for hours,
Which feels like days.

Deadline to meet,
Fixed on her work,
Living on coffee and chocolate,
She loves her Uni days.

Turned Nocturnal,
Rarely sleeps these days,
So transfixed in her mind,
As thoughts chat away.

Practical at eleven,
Lecture at nine,
Working at 3’o’clock
PhD due... dear she is racing against time.

Fixed to her computer,
Reading textbook like mad,
Hanging to her notebook,
Yet she still loves her Uni days.

Top class rhythm....if university gets pumped up, it's due to our agitated behavior at times.....yet i doubt if education will turn out as strong and wise in Greece.
