She Rests In Beauty Poem by George Capron

She Rests In Beauty

She rests in beauty,
In a happy place,
Away from the air
Of the human race

She rests in beauty
On that glad shore
At peace, at last
Forever more
At peace with her God
Forever more

The sky was blue this morning
With grey clouds overhead
But now the sun is blocked out
The sky is overcast.

The wind has shifted north to Northwest
We can feel a chill is coming on.
The black clouds have rolled in
The sun is shut out,
The wind is whipping the surf upon the shore.
