The hot sun brings forth her generous bounty.
And, as the warm rains give us so much,
her winds caress us with such a gentle touch.
Then, floods bury us in the blink of an eye.
Tornadoes rip and render with a terrible cry.
Lightning strikes us as we walk to and fro.
Oh yes, Mother Nature is a psycho.
So, enjoy those moments when she's gentle and kind.
But you'd better keep this thought in the front of your mind.
No matter how beautiful, peaceful, and fun,
when her mood swings and the skies darken,
you'd better be ready to run.
