She's Gone Poem by Hunter Curry

She's Gone

Rating: 4.5

She's gone
The wind slaps me as I walk out of the house
You can get through it
It gets better
You'll be okay
That's what they all said, but it's wrong
They were all wrong
Wrong
Wrong
Wrong
How could you lose something that meant so much to you
So quickly
Like a rose losing its petals
One day it's there
Poof
The next day it's gone
She's gone
I long for another day with her
Just one day
They were all wrong
You cannot simply walk away
All the memories vanish in thin air
Faster than speeding bullet
The good times we shared
The cuddle times that turned into hours
The long car rides together
The neverending love
I miss Samantha
My first dog
My first bestfriend
She's gone
But I will meet her again
One day we'll be together
One day
