She's Perfect Poem by Armani Poindexter

She's Perfect

She's perfect
Not your typical definition of perfect, but rather a deep meaning that tugs at the ends of your heart
God, she is perfect
Perfect in a sense that makes you crazy when you think about it
Like how she walks more elegant than the tallest giraffe, or how her smile takes away your breath with just a glimpse, and how her voice sounds like a angel sent directly by God.
Yes, that kind of perfect
A perfect that sends your world into a spiralling hurricane that you want to run into
A perfect that makes the pit of your belly contort into butterflies when she says 'I Love You.'
Yes, that kind of perfect
Perfect is not designed to be one set thing, but many great things put together, and she is that.
Your whole world is rocked and flipped upside down when she cries, as if your center is her emotions
Whereas you'd remove each and every bad thing, each and every memory that has ever tore her apart
Every "I'm sorry" never given, every misplaced "Excuse me", every unspoken "I Love You", is what you're after to make up for
But you can't, and you shouldn't
Because regardless she is still perfect.
I have taken your love for granted Ms. Perfect
The people around you will never understand the qualities you have Ms. Perfect
You can be all "I'm not perfect, please don't call me that, " but how do I stop?
When you possess the type of beauty and elegance not even the prettiest of models have?
When you hold your head up high even when you're on the verge of falling down
When you tell me everything is going to be okay, because you will be there for me...
I will be there for you too, Ms. Perfect
Despite your smile, your eyes speak a truth that only the ones who know what it is like to feel damaged.
They speak a desperate plea for a comforting companion who won't make you talk if you don't want to
But will just sit there and listen to your silence
Because your silence is your communication, your language that only few will understand
A language you will speak when you really need someone to listen
And I understand now Ms. Perfect, your love for helping those around you
But will you tell me this one thing Ms. Perfect?
Will you let ME help you?
