Afraid of what she’ll see
She isn’t sure anymore
If this is who she wants to be
The picture of love
Is turning away

She sees herself yet again
And is assuming that it’ll happen again
She feels so lost
In her own thoughts
She notices how she poses and smiles
To all the men who walk by
She wants them to want her
She wants them to love her
Even if she doesn’t want them
It’s important of the wanting from them

She watches them
And knows what they think
