She Was Poem by Kaleb Gonzalez

She Was

She was the leaf to my tree,
the honey to my bee,
she was the scent to my smell,
the heaven to my hell,
she was the blood to my vein,
the thought to my brain,
she was the smoke to my fire,
the passion to my desire,
she was the runner to my track,
the spine to my back,
she was the choo to my train,
the letters to my name,
she was the touch to my hands,
the beach to my sand,
she was the handle to my gates,
the love to my hate,
she was the inspiration to this poem,
they say i could and i'll show em,
no girl could take your place,
nor could they replaced your face,
baby you could never leave me like this,
without you my world would cease to exist,
blame you yet im the fool,
it took me to say i didnt, to figure out i love you
