Sheepish Poem by Melmar Mercado

This feeling I have,
I keep for so long,
Don't know how to tell,
How long I can handle,
How long I can hide.

Whenever I saw you with other guy,
Too much jealous I felt,
Too much hurt I experienced,
I know I don't have rights,
But I just can't stop.

Fright eats up my tongue,
Voice didn't come out,
Nervousness has no place to go,
Afraid of losing you,
But didn't do anything,

One day I hope I can tell you everything,
What I really feels,
How important are you,
You're my life, my world,
My first and last.

'I don't want you to fall,
I want to stand with you forever,
I'll be there for you through it all',
Those words I want to say,
But didn't know how? .

This poem I wrote,
My beloved girl,
I want you to read,
At least with this art,
You might know what I feels.

I failed to tell once,
I failed to tell twice,
I failed to tell three times,
This will continue,
Unless I tried to tell you at least once.
