No offense is hunger but
It's a dreary need to live,
When thousands have it -
Hard and harsh to believe.
When one needs to be clad;
Still finding it too difficult
To be blessed and blissfully glad,
A shame to defame us, not to exult.
Education to be imparted
To the people en masse,
It's ignominious that it remains
Privilege for a society of class.
Still today some die in doom
Out of dire satanic hunger.
The propaganda yet prevails -
'Hunger takes life no longer'.
People still found in numbers
Poorly dressed or scarcely clad,
Yet those eyes remain in slumber
Chics go crazy, fads rowing mad.
Illiterates are not that rare,
Rare only is that sense
Of kindling flames of fire
To cross this flinty fence.
There they gaze in wonder
For the precious mental food;
If they think of going plunder
No sin, if rightly understood.
If shared what we have,
All we gain the glee
Of winning God's grace,
Hope you must agree.
