Shepherd Poem by Leon Moon

Shepherd

vividness
of non existent moments
wailing sheep
in the darkness

crooked lighthouse
snaps snake-sticks
like lips I have not kissed;
bouquet of nooses offers me the shore
of my living room floor —

he was not alive then
but he is all I have left from that age.
