Shepherd Oh Shepherd

What's happening in church today?
What's happened to the flow
Worshippers scurry astray
Where're the wind may blow

Although good Shepherds hardly strike
Where sheep may moan and groan
Preachers will teach what people like
Rather than throw a stone

So smiling whiling flocked together
Sheep hear hypocrites tell
How many lost, like birds of a feather
Deceived, walk blind to hell

What other business anywhere
Would foolishness allow
Incompetent clerics declare
They're fit God's field to plough

So churches behave now trendy
While shame is common place
More Preachers regard sin friendly
Seeking God's state of grace

Is this the reason Jesus died?
Why Christ suffered such pain?
That sin by dupes, be magnified
In children's hearts to reign

Hear you Shepherds, of God's flock
Beware what now you say
When Christ's lambs are drinking at Life's Rock
Along Salvation Way

The eyes of God see everything
All things His ears hear
Beware offerings next you bring
The cost could be sooooo dear.....
