Shielded
You have placed a shield on my heart,
Breaking me off from something I love,
Something that makes me feel so alive,
So joyful.
I feel along the barrier,
Feel my sanity giving way..
Desperately I try to find a hole,
Some weakness to break.
But the thought of knowing that I will never find it,
Will drive me to insanity.
The thought of knowing it is unbreakable,
Will drive me to death.
