Shooting Star - Poem by Paul Prescott

Where were you to hold my hand?
Do things that we have planed,
Yes I need you by side,
When things go crazy

I just need to know you care,
Guarantee that you’ll be there,
If I wake up in the night,
Will you be my guiding light?

I don’t care how far,
I just need you more than a star,
How long will you stay?
Because I need you each day
