Shore Poem by Ragy Sandid

Shore

Like a kid at the shore
Searching for what he's looking for
And wonders if there's more
Than wooden floor and the door

I stood there once before
Knowing someday I would soar
But I had to change the key and the core
Knowing I wasn't living in my dream anymore

So many people say you can
Because you are what you were: a man
And everyone has a grand plan
Where you reach the stars where you stand

But the size of the body shrinks
To the size of what the mind thinks
You look at yourself and your eye winks
"Did you let go of the hard links? "

You become what you are and choose
The best choice is to win not lose
It depends on the equipment you use
And how many people you lose or reuse?
