Shot In The Dark Poem by Khaldun Atum

Shot In The Dark

You were here, now you're gone.
Leaving me surrounded, darkness close and afar.
What evil lies in these caves, the caves in which I am a pawn.
I call to you, no answer back.
A shiver runs through me, I fall like a stack
Of rocks to the ground, and perish in the darkness.
Without you, ever around.
