she's there on the bridge
thinking if she should do it
people would be happy
that she will be gone
forever
nobody will miss her
nobody will stop her
nobody ever does
the only people that are there on that bridge are the cops
telling her not to do this
but she keeps on denying them
disagreeing with them
she's tried everything
rope, razor, and now this
she always fails
she's always to scared scared to do it
should she
the cops are still there telling her not to
she listenes to them
like an idiot
but after that those thoughts cant get out of her head
they are stuck in there for ever
in her memory
Your poem reminds me of some sad event which happened few years ago... There's a bridge near the place I live - people call it 'the suicide bridge'. Once I whitnesed a man climb up its edge; he was crying. When police arrived he confessed that he didn't want to live, because he had brought a shame to his family by getting terminally ill and not being able looking after them... I wouldn't call anybody who is at the other side 'an idiot'... The man was rescued - he didn't jump and some people offered him and his family help they needed... I don't care what people think about me, so I wouldn't do it. Nice poem. Good job...
Nice! 'Sometimes we think that we are such fools for all our dying wishes when we are starting to appreciate life' Anyway, nice poem you have there! ^_^ thanks for sharing! -GanNi

I've also stood on that bridge and wrote a poem about it...yours captures the thoughts that run through your mind quite well...glad you're still here to write them. Coach
