I can't escape from my reality
And there's nowhere left to hide
My heart is racing faster, but
My body is soon to give out
The darkness is closing in
With no one to save my life
Then you take my side
And everything is allright

My tears slow to a stop
With every step with you
My heart begins to slow
And my body lets me continue
You take my hand to lead the way
But i don't know where we are
I continued on this path
With you by my side

I don't know what to say to you
So i walk in silence
When i think of something to say
I don't speak to enjoy your silent presence
Words can't describe the way i feel
When your next to me
My heart begins to fill
With so many feelings
It begins to race again
But you just pat my hand

I can't escape my reality
Then you take my hand
And show me the way down the path at your side
