The Passing Of The Dark Poem by Morgan Uptain

The Passing Of The Dark

The outside is dark
No light is visibale
I hear the call of the lark
We must be secable

I am blind
We musent forget
I am in no bind
I have no regret

I go to the doctor today
And when i awoke he said
In a few hours i should be able to see the light of day
And i felt the bandage on my head

The darkness began to pass
The colors came in a blur
I could finally look at people i pass
My thoughts began to slur

I could finaly see
I couldnt tell you who you are
Even if you stood right in front of me
But i feel like a star

I feel free from myself
For once in my life
You would agree yourself
I am free of my strife

The person could not finish
Soon after he got his sight
He feel through the ice trying to fish
Before he died he screamed about the light

'No don't leave me in the dark again'
After he got his sight his alertness decreased
He didn't see the sign set in
And now he is deceased
